Alleluia Community School

My children attended this school for a time and some of my family members attended K-12. All of the staff and teachers were committed and genuinely invested in each student. The school makes the most out of finite resources and students participate in maintaining building cleanliness, which I believe fosters ownership and responsibility in each student. The curriculum was rigorous, but accompanied by kind-hearted teachers who adjusted tools and delivery for each student. As a parent, I always felt that the teachers and administrators were forthright and helpful. With that said, a parent needs to be aware that they will need to be engaged in their student’s education. This is not a “drop and run” type of school. Each parent must have a “yes we can” attitude and not an attitude of entitlement toward teachers and administrators. I believe a student’s experience is greatly impacted by his or her family’s attitude toward problem-solving and conflict-resolution. Academics can be tutored anywhere. You don’t send your kid to Alleluia because of the Algebra course (though it is solid.) But having a community that cares for your child’s virtue and character, and is willing to put in effort to guide, admonish, and truly love that child, is priceless.

As an alumni, I wholeheartedly recommend this school to all families who want to send their kids to a school that puts Jesus first! I will always cherish my time as a student at Alleluia. The athletics, academics, and teachers were top notch! Praise God for Alleluia!

They just pressure washed the front of this school and it looks so much better. The front receptionists are professional. The Staff is okay. The facilities are up to date, the faculty is great. The Athletic program is amazing (GAPPS). This school started in 81. My uncles in Georgia went here and my dad.
