Aiken County Public Schools

im going to kennedy middle school right now. Over all its a good school. Very nice teachers. Could use some improvements with diciplen. Im happy to be there.

I am a student at NAHS. Let me just start off by saying that a majority of the staff that were at my schools were good and made my experience good enough. The issues start with the planning by the actual district. They wont fire or move teachers that can't do their job well even though there is proof that they are bad at their job. All that needs to be done is an investigation to see why people are complaining. NOT THAT HARD! Another thing wrong with the district is that they make needless decisions that make school worse for us. Many of the rules have little to no purpose and they couldn't care less about your opinion. The year round school turned out a mess too. I quite frankly think that the people giving 5 star reviews are dumb for giving the county credit because some of the teachers are good. The teachers deserve the credit, not Aiken county!

This school is very tedious and makes every single thing have to be the way the want. Why do people have to have a perfect outfit for them to be satisfied. The teachers seem like there only there for money and act like the students are supposed to always learn. Five years later and I am still astonished how nothing has changed and everything has only progressively gotten worse. Thank you for the worst years of my life!

It is both of my children’s first time in Aiken district and it will definitely be the last! I thought Florida had the worst school system ever now this one takes the cake. First of all the bus system is horrible. They come when they want, leave your kids, and very rude and unprofessional. The lady who answers the phone in transportation. Her attitude is absolutely DISGUSTING! She’s VERY RUDE and never takes accountability for her drivers or herself! EUNICE ROBINSON is the other person I was in contact with through email. Also didn’t take my concerns seriously and brushed it off. I feel sorry for children who don’t have parents who advocate for them. The elementary school is actually good but that Aiken Intermediate is a mess. The resource officer is truly a waste. The principal never returns calls even when it’s something important. I’m convinced they worry more about what the GIRLS are wearing than teaching kids. The teachers are lazy for the most part and give a bully complex but news flash about MY Kid that will never happen. The “adults” I’ve encountered since I’ve moved here in the school system are truly a weak excuse and I can’t wait to pull my kids out this district. Unbelievable and never again

Aiken County Schools was a great system for my children. All three went on to college with scholarships. We had awesome teachers for the most part. I was happy to see the poor teachers removed.
