Adopted the sweetest kitten from them. They were super nice to us without being pushy. Animals seemed happy and well cared for. If your looking to adopt, I highly recommend going to Aiken.

Aiken shelter was great. Adopted this jewel. They had named her Rapunzel. We changed it to Grace. She has adjusted so well. Looking healthy and happy. She is so happy and secure. Had her a year 5/23/25

Where should I begin... The lady who helped during the adoption process was very helpful. The entire staff where the kittens/cats are were super respectful and very helpful. If you're looking for a Dog/Cat, i highly recommend checking here. Prices were reasonable and even offered a little bit of kitten food once we adopted.

I love my rescue Queen! She’s such a great dog. Everyone there is very helpful and they have plenty of pets ready to find their forever home.

So sad with our experience here. We came in. We have a 20 acre farm. I’m a stay at home mom two kids that are homeschooled looking for a four legged friend. That would be happy running around the farm with us. Willing to put in the time and money to train them properly, and we were turned away, being told that there was nothing there that could fit our long list of demands. We were looking for a dog under 120 pounds that would enjoy being around people that well kind of sad that’s how we were made to feel. It was very much made aware that they did not want us looking at their dogs. Too many people jump into animals, not knowing if they’re the right fit for their situation and the fact that we were upfront and honest about it have the time energy and finances to train them properly that we were treated like that while inside, just by the one front desk, lady, the other two are very sweet, but the other one proceeded to let me know that there was nothing at their shelter that could fit my long list of demands Which were: okay being around us a lot, be happy on a farm, and be under 100 pounds. Personally for me, I think People need to spend more time making sure it would be a right fit instead of having dogs ping-ponging back-and-forth. It is sad the shelter obviously didn’t feel that way.
