990 Broad is a great addition to the Augusta food scene! The presentations of the dishes were beautiful and the flavor was very good overall. We had a reservation for 2 people at 7:00 PM on a Friday night. We arrived on time and yet weren’t seated until 7:25 PM, despite our reservation. It also took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive, which felt a little slow for just two sushi rolls. The garlic pork spring rolls had good flavor and I enjoyed them, but they weren’t the best spring rolls I have ever had. The Wagyu roll was fun and creative, but the Hurricane roll was the best! We didn’t order any drinks, but they looked creative and delicious. The service was good despite the kitchen seeming a bit behind. Parking is difficult since it’s downtown Augusta, but the website does point out a lot that I can’t speak on because we didn’t try. Overall, I suggest visiting 990 Broad!

It is hard to find good sushi in Augusta but not anymore. I made it a point to come here a couple of times to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I can joyfully say that it is not. For those that don't know, this restaurant is part of Frog Hollow Hospitality Group which has a selection of wonderful concept restaurants throughout Augusta. This outing I brought my family and we started with the Crab Rangoon, sorry ate a couple before the photo, and let me say - delish. I had a couple of pieces of Nigiri, not shown, and then we moved on to the rolls, the Kamikaze and Hurricane, all of which tasted unique and wonderful. My daughter who is vegetarian, had the Veg roll with Japanese pickled cucumbers stuffed with other goodness which she absolutely loved. The staff were excellent and on their game, very attentive and knowledgeable of the libations served. This place can be a little loud but after some cold unfiltered Saki it quiets down. All the adverts I hear mentioned reservations being a must but each time I visited without and was accommodated. This place is in my top five restaurants for Augusta so kanpai!

Everything was so delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the other bao buns. We also got the mixed sushi tray. It was expensive but I promise it was worth it. The sushi chef was so nice and told us about each one. You could tell how excited he was to watch us eat his creations. Our waitress told us he had been there for a long time, which was nice to hear. Our waitress was also great. Very informative and made sure we understood all of our options. (We did show up for Valentines Day without a reservation and had no wait time. They sat us at the sushi bar.) Fried rice definitely worth the price and enough to easily share.

The pork belly fried rice was amazing. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Our server Nicole was knowledgeable, prompt and friendly. And the cheesecake is the best!

Absolutely magical! Augusta, way to go…I’m from Atlanta area and this rivals the best there in freshness and innovation. Compliments to Chef Ito. Pricey and limited menu but worth it. Neat and stylish ambiance, good for date nights. 8 pc. Nigiri includes very premium offerings. And if you like A5 Wagyu, Otoro, and Uni, you’re in luck!
